Your account¶
Your own login: the things that follow you, not the organisation. It covers the account menu, the language, the sidebar, the phone layout, how long you stay signed in, and the messages Clix shows when a request fails.
The account menu¶
Your photo, name and email sit at the bottom of the sidebar. Click them to open Manage Profile.
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Change profile photo | Opens Update Profile Photo. See Change your profile photo. |
| Change Password | Opens Change password. See Change your password. |
| Delete account | Opens goclix.ai/en/delete-account in a new tab (the Arabic page when Clix is in Arabic). The request is made there, not in the app. |
| Terms of Service | Opens the terms on goclix.ai in a new tab. |
| Privacy Policy | Opens the privacy policy on goclix.ai in a new tab. |
| Logout | Signs you out of this browser. |
Change your profile photo¶
Who. Everyone.
- Open Manage Profile and click Change profile photo.
- Drop a PNG or JPG file on the box, or click to choose one. It may be up to 800 KB.
- Click Save changes.
Result. "Profile photo updated successfully". The photo shows in the sidebar.
Change your password¶
Who. Everyone.
- Open Manage Profile and click Change Password.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter the New password: 8 to 40 characters, with a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a number.
- Click Change Password.
Result. "Password has been updated successfully!" You stay signed in. If the change fails, Clix shows the reason, or "Failed to change password".
Forgot the current one? Log out and use Forgot Password? on the Login page. See Sign-in problems.
Language¶
The EN | AR switch sits in the sidebar, above your name. Click the other language. The whole app turns, including the direction of the page: Arabic reads right to left.
Clix remembers the choice in this browser. On your first visit it follows your browser's language. The Login page has its own switch.
The language of the app does not change the language of an invoice. Invoices carry their own English/Arabic switch.
The sidebar¶
The double-arrow button at the top of the sidebar, next to the logo, collapses it to icons. Click it again to open it.
Collapsed, the sidebar keeps working:
- the language switch becomes one button that flips to the other language;
- the mark on ZATCA Connections stays. See The dot on the sidebar.
The sidebar opens again each time you reload the page.
On a phone¶
On a screen narrower than 768 px, Clix drops the sidebar.
| Part | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Top bar | The menu button, which opens the drawer |
| Bottom bar | Dashboard, Invoices, Clients and More. More opens the drawer. Your role decides whether Invoices and Clients show. |
| Drawer | Your photo, name and email; every page your role may open; Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Delete account; the EN | AR switch; Logout |
The phone layout lacks four things the computer has:
| Missing on a phone | What to do |
|---|---|
| The organisation switcher | Log out and sign in again, then pick the organisation in Choose an organization. Or use a computer. |
| Search (Ctrl-K or Cmd-K) | Open the page from the bottom bar or the drawer, and use its filters. |
| Change profile photo | Use a computer. |
| Change Password | Use a computer. |
Verify your email¶
Until you follow the link in the verification email, the Dashboard shows a banner: "Your account hasn't been verified yet."
- Check your inbox and spam for the email. It comes from Oracle's identity service; see The verification email looks like it is from Oracle.
- If it is not there, click Resend Verification Email in the banner.
Result. "Verification Email sent successfully!" The banner goes once you have verified.
How long you stay signed in¶
Each sign-in gives Clix a pass that lasts 1 hour. When it runs out, Clix renews it in the background and repeats the request. You notice nothing.
Clix sends you to the Login page, with no message, only when it cannot renew the pass:
| You signed in with | You must sign in again |
|---|---|
| Sign in with Google | After 7 days without using Clix. Each renewal starts a fresh 7 days. |
| Email and password | When Oracle's identity service ends the session. Clix does not set that limit. |
Anything typed and not saved is lost. A saved draft is kept.
When something goes wrong¶
These messages can appear on any page.
| You see | What happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A toast: "Something went wrong on our end. We couldn't complete your request right now. Please try again in a moment." | Clix's server failed, or the network dropped. You stay on the page. | Wait a moment and try again. |
| A full screen: Something went wrong, "We're having trouble connecting to the server…", with Try Again | Clix could not load your account when the app started. | Click Try Again. |
| A full screen: Oops! Something went wrong, with Try Again and Go Home | The page itself broke. Clix logs the error. | Click Try Again, or Go Home for the dashboard. If it repeats, tell support what you clicked. |
| A toast: "You're sending requests too quickly. Please try again in ns." | Too many requests in one minute. The limit is the same on every plan. | Clix first waits and retries by itself, up to 2 times. The toast shows only if that fails. Wait, then try again. |
| A dialog: You've reached your plan limit, "You've used n of limit on your plan plan…", with Maybe Later and Upgrade plan | Your organisation used its monthly allowance. The action was refused. | Upgrade plan opens the plans. Maybe Later closes the dialog. See Plans, limits and fair use. |
| A dialog: Fair-use limit reached, with OK | Your organisation passed its fair-use limit for the month. Viewing and downloading still work. | Contact support@goclix.ai. |
