Your data

What Clix holds on your behalf, and the rules that govern it.

What is stored

Category Examples
Tax documents Invoices, credit and debit notes, their ZATCA responses and signatures
Commercial records Clients, items, vendors, purchases, payments
Organisation Profile, VAT registration, branches, devices and certificates
People Users, their roles, invitations, sign-in times
Operational Bank statements you upload, audit and activity records

What cannot be deleted

Cleared and reported invoices are tax records. Neither you nor Clix support can delete or edit one — corrections are made with credit and debit notes, which leave both documents in place.

This is the same constraint that makes the archive trustworthy: nobody, including an administrator, can quietly rewrite what was issued.

What you can take with you

  • Invoices as PDF, individually or from the list.
  • Purchases as CSV.
  • VAT filing report as an export, per period.

If you need a bulk export beyond these, ask support@goclix.ai.

Where it lives

Clix runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the Jeddah region. Invoice data stays in Saudi Arabia.

ZATCA's requirement is that the e-invoicing solution's access point is in the Kingdom; Clix goes further by keeping storage there too, which also keeps the arrangement straightforward under PDPL.

Who can see it

Only people you have invited to your organisation, limited by their role. If you belong to several organisations, each is separate — nothing is shared between them, and a role in one grants nothing in another.

Clix staff do not browse customer invoices. Access for support happens when you ask for help with a specific problem.

Leaving

Downgrading to Free, or letting a paid plan lapse, does not delete anything. The wording in the app is deliberate: "your organisation returns to Free. Nothing is deleted." You keep your records and your access to them; what changes is the monthly invoice allowance.

If you want your organisation closed and its data removed, write to support@goclix.ai — subject to the retention periods that Saudi tax law imposes on invoice records, which apply to you as the taxpayer regardless of which software you use.
